In considering becoming the Official Australian Distributor for Jin Stirrup I pondered a lot of things.

  • Do I love this product and its look and design?
  • Is this Products quality and engineering something I can represent?
  • Is this product individual in Australia?
  • Is this Equestrian gear suitable for us – Australians and riders?

I answered, “YES’ to all these questions.

(My husband Calvin and myself met and spoke with ‘Wildkart’, the makers of Jin Stirrup in Italy well over 8+ years ago now).

I have never looked back, having taken on this business and the distributorship in Australia.

Having myself, ridden in the JS stirrups and JS helmets for approximately 8+ years now (I use the JS Anatomic stirrups and the JS AIRS) I can never go back…never!

Having recovered from many injuries and broken bones sustained over the past 39 years of riding I can 100% speak for the comfort and support of the JS Anatomic footbed- it is seriously next level support, comfort, tread and stability!

Two words for the comfort of these stirrups- ‘brag worthy’.

I personally ride in the Matt Black Wide Leather Peak Helmet for my daily and the Gloss Black Mono for competitions. My gear receives compliments wherever I go!

Although now, having just recently stepped back from riding and competing due to injury I have many high-level sponsored riders, ambassadors, coaches, competitors, and friends out and about in JS products who still vouch for the quality of this Italian engineered, and beautifully made product.

Jin Stirrup have received a resounding support from eventers such as Erin Callahan and Delwyn Ogilvy, who ride in JS Products- to high level Dressage riders such as Dirk Dijkstra and Kerry Mack and our very own, Tara Campain and Stuart Archibald. Along with the likes of former Olympic rider Amanda Ross, I can tell you it’s an overwhelming thumbs up. These riders are, professionals, are particular, and choose to ride in Jin Stirrup because they love what the gear offers and the product support that comes with it.

I also know If you’re riding a young horse and need that extra grip and stability JS are the stirrups you can rely on. At DJWTS, I was recently approached by a lovely lady who had traveled from Perth to not only view the horses and competitions on offer but to specifically visit the Jin Stirrup trade stand and re-stock her Stirrup collection as her breakers will ride in nothing else! That’s JS AIRS for you.

Now that’s a wonderful compliment.

You ask…Why am I telling you all of this?

Because, as horse riders and horse lovers we spend a lot of money of our gear, and we need to be able to trust it and love riding in it. It must be worth the money.

Having trained and coached as an EA NCAS Coach for many years I ran my own riding school for 10 years and coached for other schools prior. In the past I have been heavily involved with PCAV, sitting in on Vic zone committee meetings and Presidents for clubs. I have been an active member of HRCAV and EA and competed myself. Having travelled both personally and then with my daughter, a former star’s competitor from state to state for many years, supporting her in her role as a young eventer and Vic Squad member.

I love horses, riding and good gear. I appreciate ‘Style’ and I expect ‘Quality’.
